The Parisot Writing Group: Local Voices

The members of The Parisot Writing Group, an enthusiastic community of kindred spirits, have been writing together for almost six years. When the group started some members were new to writing and others had more experience. They meet regularly to tackle creative writing exercises and to critique each other’s work. Being from different backgrounds, means each member brings their own unique perspective. Three members have published books whilst others have had pieces published in anthologies and won major writing competitions.
Come along to meet the group and talk to them about their writing and hear them read their short stories, poetry and extracts from their novels.
Festival Dinner
Continue the conversations over dinner with the authors on Saturday night and get to know the people behind the books.

There will be book sales and signings at the end of each session.
You can also buy a selection of books by participating authors throughout the weekend at our bookshop
